PROJECTS

Here's some work we like to show off

WHOLE FAMILY MEDICAL CARE:

We've completed numerous clips for Whole Family Medical, and you can see those at their website (also an E2 creation).

Among our most recent work for the practice was the development of a pair of affordable television commercials. The spots were needed quickly and we turned them around in about a week, using patient interviews, still photography, animation and a touch of stock imagery.

HOT HOUSE GLASS:

At E2, we love to work with small businesses, particularly artisans who want to use moving images to show their work to the world, and explain their processes and inspirations to their customers.

We produced a profile video for the marble makers at Hot House Glass.

Brett Young and Larry Zengel have been building Hot House for decades now, and their work is coveted by glass art enthusiasts all over the world. In their web video, they tell us about how their business began, it's focus on marbles, how collectible marbles are designed and made, and take us along to an art fair, where marble fans buy their products.

MESSAGES FROM MAE TAO CLINIC:

In the town of Mae Sot, in Western Thailand, the Mae Tao Clinic is a major community health resource. Principally, MTC serves the Burmese/Myanmarese diaspora who have settled in the local Thai region, which borders Myanmar. Most of the clinic's patients are refugees from the seemingly endless political upheaval in their home nation. They have nowhere else to turn for medical attention and will risk all to venture across the border to MTC, which is run by Burmese ex-pat Dr. Cynthia Maung.

E2 visited the clinic for a week as a volunteer service, creating or assisting with a number of communications projects. Among those was a chapter of "Messages From Mae Tao Clinic" featuring Dr. Maung herself.

NEW MUSIC BOWLING GREEN:

NMBG Chicago was a series of 7 new music performances presented at Constellation Chicago. The event was presented by the College of Music at Bowling Green State University and produced by Kurt Doles. E2 recorded the complete concert event with 7 cameras. The live-to-disk recording was augmented in editing, since each camera was independently recorded. This let us revise the camera switching decisions during editing whenever that was a benefit to the production.

All of the Constellation performances are now online in a YouTube playlist. Watch one of the pieces here, a duet called "Strohbass".
